IT System Engineer for Amazon Web Services Infrastructures (AWS Cloud) (m/f/d) (Hannover)

For TUI InfoTec GmbH in Hanover we are seeking with
immediate effect a: IT System Engineer for Amazon Web Services
Infrastructures (AWS Cloud) (m/f/d). What you will be doing As a
System Engineer (m/f/d) your task is to set up, operate and
maintain infrastructures based on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The
focus is on Windows applications and knowledge of MSSQL databases.
Specifically, this is what you will be doing: Set up and maintain
AWS infrastructures for our customers, take into account customer
and security requirements Ensure compliance with security
requirements, e.g. through virus scanners and encryption
Extensively automate the system environment including the
establishment of self-healing procedures (Automated Recovery) and
Auto-Scaling Mechanisms Set up the Connectivety to the AWS-based
systems (VPN Tunnel, Direct Connect) Implement deployments in
coordination with the customer or application development Ensure
the availability of the environments within the framework of
customer requirements What we are looking for University degree in
computer science, apprenticeship as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or
comparable qualification Database knowledge, ideally MS SQL as well
as profound Windows knowledge Good IT infrastructure knowledge,
especially in the area of virtual servers, networks and databases
Experience and knowledge in the problem determination procedure in
the environment of the mentioned products Good knowledge of agile
working methods (Scrum, KANBAN) as well as pronounced team
orientation AWS certification desirable Very good English and
German language skills (spoken and written) Willingness to take on
