Operations Excellence Manager (m/w/d) (Munich)

directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners –
to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals
can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages on their own
cars and at their own schedule. Amazon Flex is digital by design
and it leverages an app that works in concert with our advanced
logistics systems to allow delivery partners to on board, schedule
delivery times, guide them through their deliveries with in-app
mapping and navigation, and more. The approach and technology are
nothing short of disruptive, and Amazon Flex is literally reshaping
the way the industry operates. As part of our high-pace expansion
plan, Amazon Flex Middle Europe is building its leadership team to
expand its operations across Germany, Austria and Benelux. We are
currently seeking an Operations Excellence Manager to be part of
the leadership team of Amazon Flex and drive the evolution of Flex
both from Product and Geographical expansion. We seek an
experienced, passionate, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and
(most importantly) customer-obsessed program manager. This leader
will work with functions that cut across the entire organization,
including technology, transportation, operations and customer
service, to drive a great customer experience for our program. The
areas of focus will be broad and exciting ranging from instituting
strategic partnership, driving initatives to improve the driver
experience, organizing the execution during peak season, expanding
our service offering, etc. Operations Excellence Manager (m/w/d)
The successful candidate will be an absolute owner, very strong
conceptual thinker while at the same time a relentless executioner,
has a strong passion to drive change, has not only high analytical
skills with attention to detail but also possess superior inter
personal and communication skills. A can-do mentality and a
superior track record of delivering results in a fast paced
organization are a must. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree
Consultancy brackground Strong analytical and quantitative skills
and the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up
assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions. Proven experience
in executing technology solutions in a fast paced, high growth,
operational business environment Experience managing, negotiating,
and communicating with internal/external business partners
Excellent technical comprehension, and both verbal and written
communication skills Highly organized, ability to complete a high
volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight
deadlines Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree/MBA in
business, operations, logistics, supply chain, or related field
Native fluency in German A track record of success in business
