In context of card payment authorization and switching a dedicated
team is responsible for the product development and services based
on the Worldline Authorization and Switching software suite
“Worldline Pay Front Office” (WLP FO), normally combined with other
components, e.g. for card management back office or fraud solutions
for which other teams inside the company are in charge. Both
processing and software licensing offerings are in scope. In
context of growing our team, we are looking for a Senior Database
Expert (m/w/d) working on database architecture and integration.

responsibilities Tuning of SQL-queries (including root cause
analysis) PL/SQL-design and development of the DB maintenance tool
set used by the WLP FO application (statistics gathering,
incremental deployments, lifecycle management of transactional mass
data, Streams replication, etc) Shell scripting DDL migration
scripts for WLP FO DB administration Evaluating new releases of the
database Performance testing Evaluation of new features (Oracle and
others) Your experience and skills several years of experience as a
database developer or database administrator, ideally in online
transaction processing, financial or payment area several years of
experience with Oracle database Know-how and experience of DB high
availability concepts (Oracle Streams, RAC, Dataguard and others)
Good knowledge of payment services, in Acceptance/Acquiring as well
as in Issuing domains would be an advantage Knowledge and/or
experience in Worldline Pay Front Office would be a major advantage
Team player, ability to work in an international environment and
