Job Description
We are looking for our new Marketing Director to join us
at our HQ in Hannover, Germany. You will be a key member of
our Senior Management Team and play an integral in evolving the
marketing organisation by progressing forward on our digital and CX
journey, whilst balancing the needs from product orientated angle.
This will be achieved through effective people leadership and
developing the Marketing function through digitalization and our
wider multichannel strategy.
The Marketing Director holds ultimate responsibility for
the organisations marketing activities and oversees the development
and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the
business. Reporting to the Managing Director and with a dotted line
to the Group Marketing Director, the main duties are: –
Main scope and responsibilities
- Develop and implement the marketing strategy for the brand,
categories, for new and existing products, services and
solutions. - Create a marketing awareness within the local leadership teams,
with the scope to enhance Marketing Performance Management. - Leverage marketing best practices and strategies to ensure the
development of a consumer grade experience. - Support the digital transformation of the company and the
evolution of the marketing teams (both product and market
communication). - Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy from
Category Management approach including pricing strategies, strong
negotiation skills, vendor management and digital marketing. - Managing and developing the supplier portfolio in close
collaboration with the Supply Chain team. - Strong focus on market operations and demand generation.
- Maximise Customer Portfolio segmentation usage by taking
benefit from statistics regarding market development; UX feedback,
acquiring and analysing data; consulting with internal and external
sources. - Provide short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by
directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation
of market data. - Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to
meet their commercial and objectives by providing them with
appropriate tools, e.g. Web presence, E-Commerce, SEO/SEA,
etc.. - Manage social media presence, content marketing and direct
programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
(multichannel communication). - Strong Leadership competence, to lead the marketing team and
drive their employee experience. - Contribute to the global marketing director community and
support global initiatives. - Develop professional and technical knowledge by attending
educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
establishing personal networks; participating in professional
societies. - Develop the marketing team members by providing information,
educational opportunities, and experiential growth
opportunities.
Person profile
If your passionate and experienced in marketing in the areas
mentioned, and have a strong desire to create the best people
experience, whilst leading a fully integrated strategy, we would
like to hear from you. You will also have the following:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Marketing
- A strong knowledge of digital marketing &UX
- Hands on approach
- Proven track record in designing and implementing Marketing
Strategies in a corporate environment. B2B is an advantage. - Strong leadership and people skills
- Excellent English & local language ability
- Strategic Thinking & influencing
- Confident, driven and dynamic approach to leadership
