Development (m/f/d) This is an outstanding opportunity to join
Dentsply Sirona’s fast-paced Chief Technology Office. As Vice
President Enterprise Software Development, you will be instrumental
in building our market leading digital ecosystem around the key
procedures our customers perform along the patient journey. You
will be responsible to lead our company wide software development
efforts, committed to simple-to-use applications and seamless
interfaces between our products. This position will report to the
Senior VP & Chief Technology Officer and will be located in
Bensheim, Germany. Key responsibilities: Drive the alignment of the
Dentsply Sirona software world to simplify treatment planning and
strengthen the user experience Ensure a company-wide long-term
state-of-the art software-architecture Build and establish a cloud
infrastructure to simplify our offering and provide new service
solutions Work closely with the senior leadership to develop a
long-term technology strategy and capability roadmap Identify
strategic opportunities by continually researching new software
technologies and trends Initiate and steer projects with global
product groups and commercial units Collaborate with various
internal stakeholder, build and strengthen relationships across
functions to drive cohesive operations Support cross-functional
teams and motivate them to work together in the most efficient
manner Monitor competitor’s technology stack and key new
applications to ensure our software leadership Requirements:
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, IT, Engineering
or similar qualification Strategic, analytical and conceptional
thinking, mastering complexity 10+ years of professional experience
in building product and service architectures and software roadmaps
within a regulated international environment Experienced software
development leader with technology focus, including CAD/CAM,
micro-services, and ALT Strong Cloud experience, ideally
cloud-native and major cloud transition and/or deployment projects
Strong communication skills and a solid commercial understanding
Leadership and matrix management experience Fluency in English is
essential, German is beneficial
